When I watched Coraline for the first time, it changed my adolescent life. I would watch the behind the scenes as much as the movie itself. Since then, I knew I wanted to work in the animation industry. As soon as I discovered visual development as a career path, that sealed the deal. I dedicated my high school years to refining my technical skills and learning the basics using traditional mediums.
I went on to enroll at the Academy of Art University where I graduated from with a BFA in Visual Development. During my time there, as I refined my skills, I developed projects of my own including ones based on my own cultural heritage. Today I continue to refine my skills and experiment with different styles and techniques while bringing my own unique experience with traditional mediums to my digital art.
